Bill Zebub has an I.D. on Myspace - www.myspace.com/billzebub (and to a far lesser degree, www.myspace.com/billzebubproductions) .Yes, quite a lot of people consider myspace to be cheesy, but cheese is delicious in a lot of dishes - it all depends on the way you use it.

And for the people who play the amazingly addictive World of Warcraft, Bill Zebub plays on the horde side as "Svartsot" on the Sentinels server.

ASSMONSTER re-edit is now available! - Monday, September 22, 2008

Bill Zebub's critically-acclaimed comedy about the making of a B-movie has been completely re-edited and remastered.

The previous cut is officially out of print as of this date, and all future sales will automatically default to this new and improved version.

This new version is not going to be listed as a new title.  What that means is that the market will only have a listing for one "Assmonster."  So do not search for a "special version."

When searching for this title on the Internet, bear in mind that some sites list this as two words "Ass Monster" (instead of "Assmonster").

The artwork does not list any of the bonus features.  Bill Zebub felt that this would encourage "double-dipping" fans.  He states, "The only fans who should own both copies of this movie are the people who REALLY enjoyed the first version.  They will get a kick out of the new edit and they will enjoy the new color processing.  But one thing remains true for people who own the first version.  They possess a collector's item.  That cut will never be available again."

"As for actual bonus features, the only official inromatin I can divulge is that it contains a short film I did for a film class.  No, I didn't go to film school.  As most college students know, they have to satisfy certain requirements to get their degrees, and when it came time for me to choose a class for the humanities requirement, I chose Film-Making 101.  My professor didn't like the short film, but many of my classmates enjoyed how weird it was.  I am not claiming that the short film was good.  But I thought it would be fun to show that very early piece of work."

Bill Zebub has started to film BREAKING HER WILL - Sunday, September 21, 2008

Brian Joseph Gleitz and Jackie Stevens play the lead characters in the most disturbing story that Bill Zebub has yet written.  (Kathy Rice also stars in this movie as the "Gina" character)

Bill Zebub stated, "I have waited over a year to find the perfect talent for this movie.  Over 300 candidates applied for the female lead.  Many of them reported that they could not put the script down.  Some of them wanted to play the lead because it was so challenging, but I couldn't risk casting the wrong person - when a person says that the movie is a good challenge I don't really get a good vibe because it seems like the person cares more about personal development as an actress rather than to make the movie as good as possible."

Bill Zebub continues, "After the first two days of shooting I was astounded.  Brian Joseph and Jackie Stevens were PERFECT choices, and they made the scenes even BETTER than I had envisioned!"

"We are shooting the most physically-demanding scenes first.  This way, the movie seems easier and easier as we progress.  I actually put myself in their places a couple of times, just to feel the discomfort they have to endure, which made me  respect them even more.  I know that this is all going to come across on screen.  These aren't pampered Prima Donnas.  They are tolerating a lot of misery and neither of them ever complain.  Brian Joseph and Jackie are really supportive of this artistic endeavor.  They are a director's dream."

Rape is a Cirle is getting re-edited - Saturday, September 06, 2008

This cult movie will be available soon as a special edition in which almost every shot is an alternate, so it will be like watching a new film.

Bloopers and out-takes will also be provided.  Bill Zebub does not like to show the hilarious side of film-making when he presensts horror/thriller type movies because he doesn't like to dispel the illusion of the characters, but he likes to reward fans.  So the special edition will have the secret behind-the-scenes footage finally revealed.

Two of the actresses played bitter enemies on screen, but you will be able to see that they were friendly toward each other in real life.  You will also see how it was necessary to be comical off camera - some of the scenes were very emotionally taxing, so the laughter was a needed antidote to some of the on-screen heaviness.

Even if the bonus footage were not provided, the re-edit would stand on its own.  Whether you are a fan of the orginal edit, or a newcomer, this experimental project is worth a viewing.

Black Metal: The Norwegian Legacy? - Thursday, August 07, 2008

This long-awaited documentary was finalized yesterday.  Registered users of this site will soon receive an invitation to order advance copies.  All other must wait until September.  The documentary is one hour and forty-five minutes long.  There is at least 20 minutes of chapters that could not fit into this DVD, as well as over an hour of unused material that will either appear on an expanded second-edition edit, or perhaps this bonus footage will appear on the GRIMOIRE OF EXALTED DEEDS DVD.  Bill Zebub hopes that this documentary will generate interest in the many artists who were involved.  A black metal documentary without sensationalism - who would have ever ventured into such a project?

DIRTBAGS re-make scheduled for June - Monday, May 26, 2008

Bill Zebub has decided to re-make Dirtbags, which delays the filming of RAVAGE THE SCREAM QUEEN by one month.

Bill Zebub explains:  "The first version of the movie, shot six years ago, was a writing experiment.  I wanted to make a movie of subplots, weaving the lives of all the characters into a complex web.  I hadn't seen the movie in many years, and after I had revamped METALHEADS I was a bit curious about Dirtbags.  Obviously, I can do a much better job now, so I wanted to see if the script was worth re-visiting.

Bill Zebub continues: "I think that the movie could benefit from a central plot.  It may be a bit hard for a viewer to feel oriented if too stories are happening at the same time.  Although it was a fun writing exercize to make a movie about MANY main characters instead of revolving around one, a central plot may help to make the unusual environment a bit more interesting.  I didn't devote too much effort into making it clear that every person in the first movie was a dirtbag. I'll try a bit harder to make it clear that this movie takes place in a sort of parallel universe that is the opposite of the Victorian Era notion of humanity.  In this movie, each person is basically evil, not good.  So I am re-shaping the script around that concept.  Hopefully it will be an enjoyable viewing experience.  I want to make the storie as gripping as the one in METALHEADS, but of course, this movie will have lots of, shall we say, WRONG humor, ha ha."

Frankenstein the Rapist now in post-production - Wednesday, November 14, 2007

Bill Zebub has begun editing the limited edition "Frankenstein the Rapist" which stars TJ Glen and Andrea Szel.  Bill Zebub explains "The movie is as strange and surreal as Jesus Christ: Serial Rapist but also has parts that sort of follow the rules of traditional drama.  It's a limited edition  DVD because it was made as an experiment  and as a learning  tool.   I will take those lessons  into  "Frankenstein the Murderer" which I hope to begin in the Autumn of 2008.  The style of that particular movie will be a cross between art house and horror.  I am still unsure whether to center the story on rage or sorrow.  Either way, it's going to be very hard to find the right actors."

Re-Make of THE WORST HORROR MOVIE EVER MADE - Monday, November 05, 2007

In case you haven't heard, Bill Zebub has been filming a re-make of THE WORST HORROR MOVIE EVER MADE and is about 75% finished shooting.  This new version has been immense fun to shoot, and hopefully it will be just as much fun to watch.  It's a horror/comedy, a bit on the campy side, but it's loaded with politically-incorrect humor.  Still, this is perfect for a mixed audience because the humor doesn't alienate anyone.  Bill Zebub explains, "If one of the jokes in the movie targets you, you might get a little mad, but when you see that you are not the ONLY target and that EVERYONE pretty much gets dunked in the pool, you'll be laughing again VERY fast.  Plus, some of the most butal insults are directed at my character, so if I can take a joke, you should be ok."

Assmonster is being re-edited - Saturday, November 03, 2007

Assmonster: The Making of a Horror Movie is being re-edited and re-packaged.  The alternate version will feature footage not seen before, differently-edited scenes, more bloopers, and the packaging will focus on the comedy instead of the sexploitation. It should be ready in January 2008.  The alternate version will be titled B-MOVIE: The Comedy of Horror  Check the forums for further discussions.
