Most of Bill Zebub's comedies are deemed offensive, even when he tries hard NOT to make them that way.  When he made "Indie Director" he still managed to anger some people.  Most of the movies have nudity, foul language, forbidden humor, absurdity, but above all, originality and a desire to make you laugh.

When Bill Zebub makes documentaries, like BLACK METAL: THE MUSIC OF SATAN, he does so without sensationalism and without fluff.  He likes to omit narrators and to let the artists tell the tale.  He also specializes in the METAL RETARDATION series, in which he, or metal maidens, ask bands bizarre questions.  This is the stuyle of his magazine (The Grimoire of Exalted Deeds)
