Re: Death Metal Documentary
I enjoyed watching the documentary. I am very much a death metal n00b, so it turned me on to a lot of bands to check out. I also think you included plenty of music. I read some of the Netflix reviews of the first death metal doc, and I think this one would pacify them.
Also, Spooked was an interesting movie. It was good to see "Black Bill" again. What was the deal with the two different actors playing the same character? It kinda confused me at first.
Anyways, good job.

Re: Death Metal Documentary
thanks for liking the documentary (and the SPOOKED movie)

I am not a member of netflix because I buy DVD's. if I don't like a DVD that I buy then I sell it somewhere... but I have heard about the scathing reviews on netflix. As you probably know, mainstream people find it hard to understand or appreciate indie stuff. It's actually quite interesting how the movies that sell the best actually get the worst ratings on mainstream sites (like imdb, etc).

Hopefully you'll like the black metal documentary that will be out in a few months. It will have a re-edit of STEREOTYPES DON'T JUST DISAPPEAR INTO THIN AIR as a bonus movie.
