Over the years there have been a lot of requests for a sequel to Metalheads.  That can't really happen because of what happened at the end of that movie.

In 2008 the rights for that movie get returned to me.  I will make a special re-edit and probably sign over rights to MVD again because they did such a good job with it.  The movei has MANY MANY MANY shortcomings - it was my first full length movie, and I shot it on a consumer video camera.  Still, that movie has amassed quite a following.  Really surprising. I guess I hit on something that resonated with quite a lot of people.  It's for that reason that i am not re-shooting the movie - I am just going to re-edit it and give it some proper post production so it will be as good as it can be for what it is.

Although I am not making a sequel to the movie, I am developing characters for another metal comedy.  These are older metalheads, and a number of them have a fondness for a game that is similar to Dungeons & Dragons.  I really don't want to go into too much detail about that because it's just something that has to be seen - a description of it just won't be too funny.  But yes, this comedy will focus on the characters -and hopefully some of these characters will remind you of your own circle of friends, wether you are a metalhead or not. 

I migh have to shoot a horror movie or two before I get locked into prodution of this - the reason is that horror outsells comedy, so it's safe to say that my horror movies fund my comedies.  That's right.  As of this point, I have made every single movie as a self-financed venture.  I'm not yet ready to hand over creative control to the investors, but of course, that day will eventually come.  when it does, I promise to be as odd as I am permitted to be.
