There are basically three categories of Bill Zebub's movies; comedy, horror, and documentary.  But these sometimes mingle as one.  No matter which movie you select, you will hold a hybrid in your hand.

Until 2010, Bill Zebub has only produced movies for himself, and he only shoots movies which he personally writes.  (In 2010 he shot a movie for ROUGH PICTURES).

Bill Zebub was never unhappy about being an independent director/producer.  He watched as other indie people hated their low budget status and wondered how they couldn't see the positive aspects of their position.  He commented,  "Sure, it would be nice to be able to afford lavish sets and mind-blowing effects, but I am motivated by the CREATIVITY of movie-making, and of enjoying the experiences that lead to a finished movie."

"An indie movie-maker should revel in his freedom, not curse it.  I cannot provide the beautiful quality of a Hollywood movie, but I can give viewers many things that big-budget movies can't.  I can delve into subject matter that is taboo.  I can refuse to 'dumb-down' dialogue.  I can experiment and never fear failure because I am only losing my own money.  I don't have to explain to investors why a movie has not sold 200,000 units.  If I want to make a movie just to test something, I can do it without waiting for a green light."

Bill Zebub's "personal-experimentation" approach to movies has the consequence of his movies being hated by most viewers.  He remarks, "That's ok, because there are enough people out there who LOVE the movies.  The people who resonate with my movies are intensely loyal.  I wouldn't trade them.  Each fan is worth at least 100,000 fake-people, in my eyes."
